Reportedly, ThyssenKrupp
has finalized the deal with the consortium of ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel
& Sumitomo Metal for its US steel plant at the price of US$1.97 billion,
added that the two buyers will evenly split the cost and announce details by
early December.
According to sources familiar with the matter that the
bidders were likely to pay US$1.5 billion at the time when the exclusive talks
were in progress last week, however, none of these companies have made further
comment to this deal
