EU’s stainless steel prices may rise if import quotas used up-The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

The domestic stainless steel prices were expected to keep steady even the policy of import quotas was implemented in the EU.
It was understood that the current market share of stainless steel increased to one third, and the price was down by 20-25%. Besides, the total imports of stainless steel plates in the EU rose by 12.5% in the first half this year, with a market share of 29%.
It was predicted that if import quotas were used up, the market share will slide to 22-23% and the prices of stainless steel will rise accordingly.
