Siderperu, the Peruvian subsidiary of Brazil''s Gerdau, mentioned that it invest US$20 million this year to expand its existing rolling mill capacity.
Siderperu indicated that the investment will increase the mill capacity by 80,000-100,000 annually. The company expected to complete works on the new pipeline plant in Chimbote by the end of the year, and it will also invest power plant to support the pipeline construction.
