China’s stainless steel export continues upward trend in 2014--The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to statistics, China’s monthly exports of stainless steel flat products were averaged at around 200,000~247,000 tons in 2013.
The figure showed an increase of 30~60% compared to the prior comparable period.
Among them, exports of stainless steel flat products accounted for around 72.2% in total, soaring by 63.7% from the figure in a year ago. Production of pipes and tubes accounted for 15.38%.
It is expected that China’s stainless steel export will continue its upward trend in 2014, at around 2.7~3 million tons reflecting the ongoing weakness of domestic demand.
