Shougang inks cooperation memorandum with BMW Brilliance Automotive-2025 China(Guangzhou) Int'l Forging Industry Exhibition

Beiing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Co, Ltd has announced that it has inked a memorandum of cooperation on buildinga green, low-carbon steel and iron supply chain with BMW Brilliance Automotive on July 26.Accordinaly, both palles intend to cooperate on supplving ow-carbon-emission steel materlals, and intend to cary out thecooperaion on application of automotive body materials based on the current blast furnace and converter process and cooperationon low-carbon-emission products based on the electric furnace process. The two sides aim to achieve the carbon dioxide emissionpeak by 2030 and to be carbon neutral by 2060.
