EEC prolongs AD duties on seamless steel pipes originating in China & Malaysia- The 19th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

It''s reported that the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) decided to extend the anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled seamless steel pipes originating in China and Malaysia till January 18th, 2019, with the anti-dumping duty rate of 19.15%.
According to the review materials submitted by the relevant companies, the EEC held that if the above anti-dumping duties were terminated, there would be a possibility that China and Malaysia would continue dumping seamless steel tubes to the Eurasian Economic Union countries.
In the course of this investigation, the existence of Chinese-made steel pipes through Malaysian re-exports to evade anti-dumping duties was confirmed. In April 2013, the EEC decided to impose a 19.15% anti-dumping duty on seamless steel pipes originating in China.
