Taiwanese pipe mills to lower prices by for Jan- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

As Taiwanese China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to decrease its domestic prices, Chung Hung Steel (CHS) also followed to drop its hot-rolled coil prices by NT$300/ton.
Therefore, Taiwanese pipe mills announced to follow lowering their prices by NT$600/ton for January. It also means that the Taiwanese carbon steel pipe demand is not as good as expectation.
According to the understanding, the current deal price for carbon steel pipe is in the range of NT$20,800~21,200/ton and for galvanized steel pipe is in the range of NT$23,500~24,000/ton. The pipe mills new price is very closed to the deal price and had no profit.
