Anglo American to cut nickel production for 2017-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the report from Anglo American plc, a multinational mining company, the production of Brazil’s nickel iron was equivalent to 9,900 tons of metal in the first quarter due to the maintenance of Barro Alto’s electric furnace.
The production fell by 9% compared with previous month and dropped by 12% compared with the same period of last year.
Therefore, Anglo American would revise the annual nickel production target from 4.5 tons down to 4.3-4.5 tons.
