According to the report, global refined nickel inventory continuously reduced, and LME nickel stocks closed to 300,000 tons.
On the other hand, Shanghai Futures Exchange nickel stock slumped to 42,900 tons. The average daily stock was at 580 tons, showing that spot market surplus became smaller and nickel price went up.
In conclusion, the demand and supply situation for refined nickel still has been a destocking, and the consumption of nickel based on new energy. Therefore, nickel price had high anti-risk capacity when compared to other metal prices.
