Taiwanese screw exports to India expected to grow for 4 consecutive years-The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

In the first 10 months of this year, the screws exported to India has increased by nearly 2% compared with the same period of last year, with a total volume of around 11,800 tons. In 2017, screw exports to India were around 14,000 tons, increasing by 2.73% year on year.
The screws exported to India has been increasing for three consecutive years and price was reversing sharply.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast pointed out that Indian economic growth rate of this year was as high as 7.4%, which was the fastest growing economy in the world. Moreover, Indian government was promoting infrastructure, and the screw demand was expected to grow up vigorously.
In addition, Indian domestic demand for automotive steel was increasing. As said, India will become the world’s third-largest automotive producer by 2020. Taiwan has exported large volume of automotive screws to India already.
