According to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS), Pakistan imported around 265,300 tons of scrap in April this year, sliding by 18.2% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 20% from the same month a year ago.
During the period, the import value totaled roughly US$178 million, a month-on-month decrease of 10.8% and a year-on-year increase of 11.4%.
