Hebei Iron & Steel, the largest steel long product maker in Northern China has announced to increase its rebar by RMB40-70/ton, and wire rod prices cut by RMB70/ton for mid-May.
After adjustment, the prices of HPB300 wire rod with diameter of 6.5-10mm will be at RMB3,900/ton, up by RMB270/ton; those for HRB400E rebar with diameter 12-14mm prices will be at RMB3,730ton, drop by RMB40/ton; the HRB400E wire rod with diameter 8-12mm prices are at RMB3,560/ton, drop by RMB70/ton, above prices are included VAT.
