According to reports, due to the recent announcement to adjust safeguard measures by the EU, Turkish HRC manufacturers might decline in sales in the European market. However, Turkish local European imports might increase.
Under the current high steel production capacity, the EU had to further restrict imports; however, the local production in Europe has declined. Since the EU has always been the main selling area of Turkey, the adjustment of EU import quotas will affect the manufacturers of Turkish HRC more or less.
In addition, Turkish hot-rolled producers might also be affected by competition in the Indian supplier market due to imbalances in supply and demand in India.
