It is reported that Turkey’s wire export prices increased US$8/ton in past week,
FOB 355-365/ton. Market participants pointed out that imported steel billet prices rose, which caused wire rod prices increased. Therefore, Turkey exporters will maintain its firm bid prices did not change.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s export market remained weak over the past week. Due to local market demand and prices for wire were much better than exports market, Turkey producers will focus on local market so far.
