It was reported that TransCanada recently passed the US Department of State''s environmental protection review, and it was expected to start oil well project next year.
After review of Nebraska regulatory agency changed its path, the US Department of State again conducted thorough investigation and released it. TransCanada has begun preparing oil well pipe project routes, as well as transportation pipelines and parts in Montana and South Dakota.
The review was slashed by environmentalist, and they believed this plan was a threat to the US government. However, current review was only a draft and still facing public comment. Federal official mentioned that the draft will be officially completed in December.
Besides, the oil well pipe project could transport up to 830,000 barrels per day of crude oil and could be shipped from Canada to Montana, South Dakota, and Steele City of Nebraska, and will be linked to original Keystone tubing and shipped to Texas bay area refinery.
