According to statistics released by the Peruvian National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), Peruvian rebar sales totaled around 114,100 tons in January this year, dropping by 35.2% compared to the previous month and also decreasing by 22.4% from the same month a year ago.
The sales have recovered from the coronavirus epidemic outbreak in the first half of 2020. In 2021, Peru’s sales of rebar amounted to 1.6 million tons, rising by 38% from the corresponding period a year earlier.
