In the january-November period this year. the ferrous metal smelting and roling sector recorded a gross loss of RMB 7.86 bilion($1.1 bilion), down 83.7 percent year on year, as announced by China''s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 27The automotive sector recorded a gross proft of RiB 413.2 bilion ($57 5 bilion) in the first eleven months this year, down 7.3percent year on year.
At the same time, the ferrous metals mining and dressing sector, the metal manufacturing sector and the railway, shiopingaerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing sector recorded aross profits of RM8 51 .26 bilion ($7.1 bilion). RMB157.25 bilion ($21.9 bilion) and RMB 98.39 bilion ($13.7 bilion) in the january-November period. up 4.3 percent. down 3.5percent and up 29.5 percent year on year, respectively.
In the given period, the aggregate gross profit of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in China amounted to RMB6.66748 trillion ($0 93 trillion), down 4.7 percent year on year.
