Xingtai Iron & Steel Corp, Ltd. (Xingtai Steel), has granted Siemens VAI Metals Technologies the final acceptance certificate for secondary steelmaking facilities and a four-strand continuous billet caster.
The facilities are part of a new steel works in Xingtai in the Hebei Province for producing stainless and special steels.
