British Steel expected to purchase US' Johnstown Wire-The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

According to the report, British Steel, belonged to a private group, planned to merge Johnstown Wire Technologies in the US.
Johnstown Wire was part of Bethlehem Steel, producing wires for automobile, power distribution, fences, steel wool and screws, with headquarter located in Pennsylvania. It was estimated its revenues of about US$61.2 million.
The US imposed heavy tariffs on imported steel that brought local steel at higher price level and trade conflicts with countries. It would be an influential start for British Steel stepping into US steel manufacturing.
British Steel manufactured steel for construction, railways and other industries with based in northern England and factories in both France and the Netherlands.
