Japanese Daido Steel to charge alloy surcharge on tool steel from next Jan-The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

Japanese Daido Steel announced that all of tool steel will be charged alloy surcharge from next January because the alloy price for molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten, cobalt increased too much for the these few years.
In the past, the corporation charged the alloy fee depending on different cases or covering the raw material cost by themselves in order not to cause too much price difference to give an impact on the market.
Japanese Daido Steel was going to call meeting and explain the alloy surcharge measurements and hope the customers could understand.
