Japanese wire rod exports up in Oct -The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

According to the statistics, Japan exported around 54,000 tons of wire rod in October this year, up by 37.63% compared to the previous month, but down by 4.99% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to China were around 6,500 tons, a month-on-month increase of 23.62% and a year-on-year decrease of 34.82%; those to the US were around 21,000 tons, a month-on-month hike of 84.12% and a year-on-year increase of 75.37%; those to Taiwan were around 800 tons, sharply up by 202.65% from last month and up by 156.91% year on year; those to South Korea were around 8,300 tons, rising by 80.92% from the previous month and up by 22.62% year on year.
