Russel Metals plans to acquire City Pipe and Supply-The 21st China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

According to reports, Russel Metals Inc., a service center chain in Toronto, Canada, acquired City Pipe and Supply, a valve and pipe fittings distributor for oil and gas pipelines, for C$160 million.
City Pipe and Supply has distribution points in Odessa, Big Spring, Weatherford, Longview, Texas and Hobbs, New Mexico.
The acquisition will further expand Russel Metals'' operations in the oilfield industry. The acquisition plan will be completed in the fourth quarter. It was understood that City Pipe and Supply''s annual revenue was C$275 million in the previous year.
