Renault to produce aluminum engine blocks at Turkish plant-The 21st China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

It was reported that Oyak-Renault, an automotive manufacturer in Turkey, will produce aluminum engine blocks at its Turkish plant for the first time, which was the only hybrid engine production plant in Europe.
Mustafa Varank, the Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, said the engines will be exported to China, Spain and the UK.
Renault is one of the leading brands of automobiles in Turkey. According to statistics from the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD), the firm’s output was around 30,700 vehicles, accounting for 34% of the total domestic output. In the first 9 months of this year, the total output reached approximately 243,300 vehicles.
