It''s reported that Australia''s exports of iron
ore from Port Hedland hit a record high in August, reaching 37.38 million tons,
up by 3.6% from the previous month and soaring by 36.4% year on year.
Among them, 32.03 million tons of iron ore were
shipped to China, up by 4.8% from July.
Australia’s iron ore exports continue to ramp up
strongly, despite soft iron ore prices.
Port Hedland is used by BHP Billiton, Fortescue
Metals Group and Atlas Iron to ship iron ore cargoes.
