In January-November Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works (Donetsk region), a part of the Metinvest group, produced 2.99 million tons of rolled metal, down by 22.1% YoY. According to the company, steel smelting fell by 30.4% to 3.35 million tons, while pig iron output decreased by 14% to 3.95 million tons, all YoY. In November Mariupol Ilyich produced 180 thousand tons of rolled metal, 203 thousand tons of steel and 252 thousand tons of pig iron, as opposed to 174 thousand tons of rolled metal, 193 thousand tons of steel and 266 thousand tons of pig iron a month earlier.
