Rosemont, Ill.-based Sapa Extrusions has announced an 18-month exclusive agreement with PPG Industries, Pittsburgh, that provides Sapa with exclusive rights to administer PPG’s coatings warranty on completed aluminum products.
As part of the agreement, Sapa now can transfer PPG’s coatings warranty along with Sapa’s applicator warranty directly to its customers that have purchased coated aluminum products. PPG will warrant film integrity, chalk, and color fade when properly applied to Sapa’s pretreated aluminum products. The warranty extends for varying time periods depending on treatments and paint type.
