According to sources reported, MMG ‘s Peru Las Bambas copper mine is expected to begin the production in 1th quarter of 2016. In spite of the mine encountered difficulties on falling copper prices, also faced protests from local residents, the company will remain positive for the project.
Meanwhile, Peru is becoming a popular investment in copper, the country plans to increase copper production output to 2.8 million tons till 2016. Furthermore, Peru to become Chile''s second-largest copper producer.
