Broco® Rankin has introduced multiprocess welding kits to accompany the Rankin Automation™ multiprocess, 2-axis, automated welding machine. The kits perform multiple functions and processes from one base unit machine. A tilting-head positioner also is available.
The kits can be used for a variety of jobs, including welding, joining, cutting, hardfacing, and fabrication. Models are available for SAW, open-arc welding, oxyfuel straight-line cutting, and GMAW carbide application.
Each kit can be changed out for another kit in minutes. Each kit also can be purchased separately, as a group, and with the 2-axis, automated welding machine base unit. The welding machine is made of industrial-grade steel with programmable X and Y axes, carriage, and a floor-mounted control panel with touchscreen.
