China’s Yaxin Steel Group orders 2 EAF Quantum electric arc furnaces-The 19th Guangzhou Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

It was reported that China’s Henan Yaxin Steel Group has placed an order from Primetals Technologie for two EAF Quantum electric arc furnaces.
Both of them has a maximum tapping weight of 120 metric tons. The new furnaces will converter its current steelmaking to a more environmental process. Besides, it will bring less CO2 emissions and save operating costs.
Yaxin Steel said it plans to commission these two new furnaces in the first quarter of 2019.
