Coil Steel Processing, Toledo, Ohio, has launched a new 0.625-inch by 72-inch High Strength Heavy Gage Cut-to-Length Line with Stretcher Leveler from Red Bud Industries. The company expects the line to be operational by the fourth quarter.
The new line has the capabilities to stretch high-strength steel up to 0.500 inches by 72 inches and can handle coils up to 80,000 pounds. The line consists of coil stage and load system, dual-cone uncoiler; heavy gage peeler/breaker, precision pop top straightener, rotating brush dust collection system, thread system, servo roll feed, variable rake shear and a heavy gage drop stacker with 60,000-pound capacity.
CSP is a toll processor specializing in cut-to-length steel processing. The company has more than 100,000 square feet of storage space and the capacity to inventory up to 50,000 tons of steel coils.
